Khipus

This is a student brief I completed from Shillington College, Manchester. The ask was to create Branding and Packaging for a high-end boutique consumers product of our choice.

I chose Maca Powder from the Andes in Peru. KHIPUS meaning talking knots in the native Quechua language was a system used by the roadrunners of the Ancient Inca civilisation to deliver secret messages from one end of this massive empire to the other. The system has been incorporated into the packaging of the product.
