Google DE&I Illustrations & Guidelines
In 2022, the Google Marketing team approached our team requesting a brand new suite of illustrations specifically geared towards DE&I (Diversity, ethnicity & inclusion).
I managed and directed a Creative team that not only created inclusive illustration characters but also created a Brand Guidelines Playbook to help guide other agencies on how to create inclusive illustrations.
These guidelines focused on best practices when designing illustrations for the following categories: ethnicity* (within six main regions), age, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and people of all sizes. The aim was to make our work resonate with different audiences. This was a hugely successful project.
