Hi, I’m Jonty & I Design.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I’m a Freelance Graphic Designer based in Cavan, Ireland. I have over 20 years experience in the world of visual communications traversing a range of mediums, both print and digital.

I’ve gained valuable knowledge working in a broad range of environments, from print houses to ad agencies. My objective is to produce work that communicates simply and is delivered in an efficient and accurate manner.

In the last couple of years I have been creating my own GAA themed prints which can all be found in the SHOP section of the website here.

Yonderground Maps began with a simple question: what if County Cavan had an Underground system? With no trains since 1960, I reimagined the rail lines and replaced the stations with our 40 local GAA clubs. The map quickly went viral, and soon people were asking for prints.
What started as a single map has now grown into a project to create Yonderground maps for all 32 counties of Ireland.
